Bygg Rec is the first project of Local A and will take place at Tensta Konsthall in autumn 2009. Bygg Rec is a workshop for young people and a collaboration between artists Felice Hapetzeder and Jenny Berntsson. The artists will create new works in this connection.

Record Construct be conducted in Istanbul during 2010 with co-financing from Istanbul Cultural Capital 2010. The project will be implemented in two of Istanbul's suburban areas, and later displayed at the cultural centre of each suburb.



A future project is Bygg Rec exposé that takes art to the school. We want to gather up the experience of Bygg Rec and Record Construct, focusing on accessibility and the meeting with the pupils in the audience. Bygg Rec exposé is a new form of vernissage! The artists will display their works, bring to life the process and enable young people in the audience to become co-creators. Works and process are displayed and discussed. Glimpses of art history are provided as reference points. Adolescents in schools where we show Bygg Rec exposé will be able to identify with others from Tensta and Istanbul in the works.

Local A. är bildad för att främja konst som identitets-skapande, kunskapsbyggande och stadsutvecklande medel. Föreningen vill använda gallerier, institutioner, stads- rummet och för konsten okonventionella rum för workshops och konstprojekt.

Bygg Rec är Local A. första projekt som skall genomföras på Tensta Konsthall under höstlovet 2009. Bygg Rec är en workshop för 12-13 ungdomar och ett samarbete mellan konstnärerna Felice Hapetzeder och Jenny Berntsson. Konstnärerna skapar nya verk i samband med workshopen.

2010 kommer Record Construct att genomföras i Istanbul med delfinansiering från Istanbul Cultural Capital 2010. Projektet kommer att genomföras i Zeytinburnu och ytterligare ett av Istanbuls förortsområden och senare ställas ut på de respektive förorternas kulturhus.

Ett kommande projekt är Bygg Rec exposé som kommer med konsten till skolor. Vi vill ta vara på verken i Bygg Rec och Record Construct genom Bygg Rec exposé fokusera på tillgängligheten och mötet med mottagarna. Exposé är en ny form av vernissage! Konstnärerna kommer att visa sina verk och levandegöra processen samt aktivera ungdomarna i publiken att bli medskapare. Verken i Bygg Rec visas och diskuteras. Glimtvis konsthistoria ges som referenspunkter. Ungdomar i skolorna där vi visar exposé, kommer att kunna identifiera sig med dem från Tensta och Istanbul genom verken.
